What Is The Weight Watchers Point System?

weight watchers kit and points calculator

Overview: What is the weight watchers point system? Weight watchers has integrated an exciting new points system to keep their diet interactive and easier to stick to & so far its working.

Everyone starts in a certain category depending on their weight and are given a pre determined amount of points. Foods are assigned a point value and as you eat througout the day you will add up your points based on the value of foods you eat.

The rules are fairly relaxed, meaning you could technically eat a meal most people couldn't and assuming you stay under your pre assigned point limit you are supposed to lose weight. There are very few foods that are outright not allowed on the weight watchers points. Obviously weight watchers cant account and assign point values to every food in the world. You are given a forumula for figuring out a foods point value. The forumla takes into account the calories, fiber and fat.
